Ex-GF: Have a great friday loved ones, may it be a wonderful and cool day! Mauhz! =)

Me: **** off

Me:I say that with love ! <3 ;-)

Ex-GF: Sure ill **** off. Bye. Enjoy ur day.

Me: Lol, I wasn't enjoying my day, why do you persist on these senseless random spams instead of interacting normally?

Me: It would be a better approach to everyone if you had an actual conversation instead of these stupid spams.

Me: Once again I am saying this with love

Should I call her and prevent her from feeling sad ?

Yes call her. It's not like she's just targeting you. It's a mass text.

I know but its so freaking annoying, you get those txts too ! I called her and she didn't pick up, her excuse over txt was she has a cold and isn't feeling well.

I don't see why you feel bad lol What you said was actually quite valid and got the point across. I always reply the same way anytime anybody sends me a mass spam text of any kind. It might come across mean, but at the same time I'm always hopefully that my being brutally honest (because lets face it, everyone else wants to tell these mass spam texters the exact same thing, they just dont have the balls), will get the point across that well.... they are being friggin annoying and nobody gives a sh-t -__- Just think of it as being helpful and not mean ;)

I don't know, I think it was overly rude - you can convey a message to someone without being mean about it. I don't think there's a problem with telling people to stop sending you mass texts in a more elegant way than "*** off" o-o

but I mean, I don't know this girl or your relationship to her, so yeah

I have told her numerous times, and Linux has too. The thing is I want to have a normal convo with her and whenever I feel like I should call her, she sends me a spam txt aimed at everyone for no purpose other than she wants attention.

She was my ex GF for 2yrs 1/2 or so and we haven't seen each other in 3 yrs + I told her I was going to get in touch with her as I promised her when the time was right. That was earlier this year, after that she kept sending me these spams. At first I brushed the off and replied but no reply back. Afterwards it became annoying and told her politely. Not it's just getting ridiculous after telling her more than 2 times to not send me these and instead to call me or txt me normally. Anyways I called her but she didn't pick up, she then txt me saying it was ok. Then she sends me a pic with an elephant stuffed doll with my name ... yeah ... time to avoid again ...

I'd be somewhat perturbed and not feel I owed someone anything (like answering their calls) if they told me to **** off when all I was doing was trying to share a simple, honest, positive sentiment; even if they tried to cover it up and backpedal afterwords.

If it's annoying and they lack tact, there are much better ways to engage that conversation than "**** off".

EDIT: got ninja'd by your post - if she kept doing it even after telling her to stop I'd just ignore the texts. Still wouldn't resort to "**** off".

I don't think it's overly rude -after- having asked multiple times to stop. If it was like the first time, then yea lol A bit mean.... but after numerous times, when being nice obviously didn't work, def time to be a little harsher.

Talk about creepy O_o lol

I honestly never understood why anyone would want to keep in contact with their exes. I mean, just from my own personal experience- it never turns out well. There's only about two I talk to, but those relationships were the mutual break-up kinds, so there were no hard feelings afterwards or anything.
