Sore Loser

Most of us have played games with sore losers. The internet is filled with them. I bet you have been a sore loser too. Share with us a time when you were a sore loser after loosing a game.

I am pretty calm, but sometimes when I play with a certain friend I can loose it. Mostly because he brags about that he owns and just plays annoying now and then.

I'm not generally a sore loser but I am mean during the process of gaming. But after a game is over, I don't dwell on the situation for too long - I might discuss it for a few minutes but usually I move on and play another or stop playing.

But I did throw a PS2 controller on the ground hard after some game...forgot which, Think it was a DBZ Budokai game. It was so long ago. I didn't break it completely, but one of the analog sticks had problems after that.

I don't think I've ever been an actual sore loser, but I've tried to aggravate the other team on purpose (looking back now, I was an a-hole lol.) Just me and my friends screaming "bad kids" or something after a game, when we were purposely goofing off and trying to lose. We only resort to that though when the other team is acting like "We owned you, you're all trash." "Scrubs", "Noobs", and my personal favorite "Oh my god kids, get a life". To get that response when you spend the game running in circles, mongoose donuts, trying to drive enemy players around...well, we start meowing or just repeating what they say.

I used to be a huge poor sport when I was little, with everything. After I saw other people acting like that, I cut out of it. I may be a little mad if I'm playing LoL and we're about to win when 2 players quit off our team and we lose, but I'm not gonna start screaming and throwing a hissy fit.

You get a lot of sore losers on LoL, either on your team or the other. Just turns out to be a lot of "YOU *****! YOU SUCK *******"!" Most of the time you laugh it off but it gets old.

If I'm having a bad day and playing bad, sometimes I get discouraged and a little *sigh* but I usually just walk away.

I'm really competitive, so when I lose I normally get get upset. I don't really get angry unless the other team is running there mouth. If they start running there mouth it's all down hill from there. Online I normally talk trash the whole game, honestly I think it's more fun. I do it on xbox live or even LoL, basically any game. I never raged hard enough to brake my controller or anything. Though there is a hole in my wall from playing Modern Warfare 2.

Generally I'm not a sore loser like most of on this forum. But there have been times mostly in race games when I flip. Like in GT5, in the licence section, you know where you have to drive perfect but the games cars have no rules. I drive the track perfect get near the flag and BANG a car from behind hits or just clips you enough to hit the side, grass or whatever and you get disqualified for doing nothing wrong.

I'm almost never a sore loser when playing MP games, but oddly enough, if I fail at something while playing a SP game, and you're in the same room as me, you're getting blamed for my failure :P

I play against lots of sore losers on LoL. Started this thread right after playing against one. One of the most evenly matched games I've played in a while and he said it was a horrible game. Anyway right before that game I was trying out singed and failed at it so badly. First LoL game I've ever gotten sore over. Not even sure why. I've failed harder before and the other team wasn't even trash talking. :)

LoL is my favorite game to trash talk in. There has been times where we were losing 90% and we end up acing there team, then we push and win. I also like to say, that was the easiest game I ever played, wish I had some competition. That normally makes people rage real hard.

I especially like when you stomp people who trash talked you early game. Was playing as nasus once and after 50 minutes I had 3 warmogs, ninja tabi, force of nature, and an atmas. 9k health, 40 health regent a second (not including FoN), and did like 300 damage. I just walked through three of their turrets, their whole team, and got their nexus. They were raging so hard.

I just try to ignore them. No point in aggravating them more, it'll just cause you more annoyance. but thats just me :)

Sometimes its hilarious playing a troll in lol. We were a whole team just trolling, everybody chosed bad guys and just played awful. While they was leading with about 40/4 we just kept on sayong like "You guys suck, we gonna win, we havnt even started yet"

We lost and everybody(even the enemies) had a laugh.

Next time we had all tanks and owned the other team. That was fun,.

*I* wouldn't say I'm a sore loser but I'm sure anyone else you'd ask would say different xD I typically don't rage in game (like in WoW BG's or LoL).... but I deffff rage outside game haha I've broken controllers, broken more then one mouse, broken random objects that are unlucky enough to be in my reach... on the occaisonal nerdrage Ive even tossed my laptop :X (which is how I know something is built well: if it can stand up to my abuse hah). But my tantrums are more amusing then anything, not the type where people can't stand to play with me, cause Im not serious about them. Well I am, but Im not... does that make sense? lol Like I get genuinely mad for a couple minutes and then after I rage I realize how ridiculous Im being and will just burst out laughing. Normally goes:

Lol :P The only time I get genuinely mad is if the person Im playing with tells me ahead of time that theres no way Im going to win, especially if their reasoning is because I have a vagina. I have a personal vendetta with my fiance because he does that to me allllll the time because he knows it makes me irate and finds it amusing.

me: Why's that?
Him: ...... because you're a girl and girls suck at games.

In single player games my catchphrase for a while was (if I lost) "I HATE THIS GAME!" *toss controller, storm off* *few minutes later* I guess I'll try again......

In multiplayer games though, I don't really get mad. Unless it's with my brothers cause they gang up on me and slaughter me. -__-

I get really mad playing AOE online cause a lot of the people are douches and talk trash and noob this, noob that. Well, yeah, man, cause I have actually seen sunlight in the past 2 weeks unlike you!! (okay, harsh... but you know what I mean) Credit to this one guy who cut in one time saying, "Come on, guys. We were all noobs at one point. Give her a break!" haha

Never broken a controller or mouse or computer screen... So nope, no sore losing from me. :p Trying to remember if I've ever had a nerdrage moment.... I did throw a 64 controller once.... I think? I believe I was playing Indiana Jones & The Infernal Machine on the Egypt level and had just fallen into a pit of snakes for like, the thousandth time and freaked out. haha Stress level was at maximum by then, no doubt. ;)

Like in Halo Slayer for example, whenever I play with a friend they always cry or pout because I killed them so many times. The only person who I play with who isn't a sore loser would be my girlfriend. Her and I actually have about the same amount of kills and whatnot. But I like playing CO-OP with her on most two player games.

CO-OP is always better when you play with your girlfriend because you don't have to give her the win every once in a while (We all know that's why she has as many kills as you ;) ). I wish my girlfriend was into videogames. She tries to stay away from them as much as possible.

Or we have about the same amount of kills. <___< Besides in Block OPS Zombies, she either has way more then me, or I have way more then her. Which probably happens when one of us is down and the other has to kill all the zombies before you can revive each other.
And that sucks. Shes not even into Mario? D:

No not even Mario. I've been trying to get her into Minecraft but she won't take. And she doesn't want to try any shooters. I try not to force the issue though, even though it'd probably be good for the relationship.

Well thats kind of a bummer. Your probably right though, but to each their own right? :3 Like my roommate (the three of us live together) she doesn't play video games hardly ever, but every now and then we game out on Mario Kart or even Zombies on Black OPS. But other then that, NOPE, not a gamer at all. -__-
