View Full Version : Spinning Assassin

Whilst playing Assassin's Creed II, I encounter frequently an annoying spinning effect. As I push up the analog stick to make the character go forward, it also tends to rotate the camera simultaneously left. Consequently, my rather classy assassin just runs in some not-so-classy circles. Everyone points and laughs. The poor assassin lacks self-esteem. Does anyone here have a solution to this pitiful problem?

I would also suggest checking a different controller. Also that reminds me of back in the N64 days. When you would start the N64 with the controller stick pointing in a direction, then when you would start the game the controller would continue to move that direction because that's how the axis were set. :laugh1:

Thank you all for you attempts to aid me! And Hidekipooj, I too remember the glorious N64 days. And that issue has ailed me in the past with PS2 games, but this was not the case with my dear spinning assassin.
While this is not a perfect remedy, I did take the advice of switching controllers, as the first one was a wireless. Using a wired controller, dear Ezio's sense of direction is supreme. So the wireless controller, though working fine for my other games, is the best suspect I suppose.
Thank you all again, and case closed!
i also hate this. happens to me sometimes
