I'm an old gamer and I mostly like online games, adventure games or old RPG games :)

Hi there fellow old gamer! Well.. what do you consider old? I'm 29 and appreciate retro RPGs and the like probably more than a lot of gamers. It's an obsession to buy every old console I can find and then find as many RPG/adventure games I can from that system. Nothing can beat classics such as FFII and II for the SNES and ChronoTrigger. Though I'll admit that games coming out nowadays are nothing short of amazing and it's great being able to remember how far games have come along since the days of Pitfall and Pac-man (not old enough to remember Pong in all it's glory..).

I look forward to seeing a lot of your posts because people that appreciate old-school RPGs are people I know I can really get along with. Others will tell you to read the rules and all that jazz, so I'll just say HI NEW FRIEND! lol

Thanks for the fast welcome :).

I'm in my 20's too and I enjoy 2D games more than most 3D games, for example I used to love Zelda on Super Nintendo more than all the new Zelda games put together.

As do I. I wrote a review on that game first because it had the most sentimental value to me and it's one of my top 10 games without it being a true turn-based rpg. ^^ 2D sprites are where it's at.

Zelda is an amazing game. All of the games in the series were pretty good although I haven't played too many. What kind of online games do you play. Oh and for the weird part of the post people may have come to expect, I want to eat your ear.

Right now I hardly have time to play, but I kind of play WindSlayer 2 Closed Beta, because I own a WS2 fansite. I also want to try out War of the Immortals when it "opens" as closed beta in 2 days.

Talk about feeling your age. When I here people labeling themselves old gamers at 29 it makes me feel positively Ancient. By the way I'm a Very young 53 year old gamer.

The real reason I named the topic like this was because the section was named "NEW Gamers", while I don't feel I'm new to games. (I know it's named like this because of the forum name)
