Vacation!! O_O [Archive]

Soooo I will be getting on a plane to Jamaica with my best friend at 6am tomorrow morning!

At this point in time we’re aren’t sure if we want to pay the extra $50 for teh interwebz and I will be turning off data on my phone before I leave so that I don’t come home to find ridonk roaming charges on my cell bill :P

That said, it may be about a week and a half before I’m back on :O

So, ummm…. If that’s the case…. behave guys! Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do! ;) And I’ll tty all when I get back. If I do have the internets (which, knowing me will be case xD ) then I suppose Ill be seeing you around as usual :P

Who really wants to go on the internet when you're on vacation? I could care less about a forum/Facebook/whatever when I'm enjoying myself. I spent 12 days in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and didn't think twice about touching a computer. There's one at home, and I'm goin there to drink, eat great seafood, and relax on the beach.

In any case have fun. The tropics are an amazing place to be. Also, you'll get charged roaming for just having your phone in a foreign country, data turned on or not. Happened to my gf's uncle when we went to DR. Got a roaming bill for $1200 for having cell service. Just a heads up :P

I honestly wouldn't even care about the internet either.... only my fiance will be left at home for a week since he isn't coming. And as sad as it sounds, I can not go without talking to him and making sure everything's okay at home for a whole week :P And since calling cards are about $30 for a tiny amount of time.... Id rather pay $50 and be able to skype/AIM whatever with him whenever I get a moment of free time.

I actually called Verizon and confirmed that if I turn off data I won't be charged roaming *AND* I had the rep that told me that email me a confirmation letter saying that, just in case ;)

Well misty dark forests got its appeleing, I admit but now its just toooo damn dark, you cant see anything.

But I went out earlier and its still kinda cosy, not a single sound anywhere, everything is just quiet, and dark. :cheesy:

If someone did release bears here they wouldnt survive for long. There are lot of farmers here that HATE predator animals and most of them got weapons and would hunt the bears down, just like we did with the wolves(We had a licensed wolf hunt where 20 wolves could be shot, 20 000 hunters joined that hunt).

You lucky dog!!! I wish I were there! It looks sahhhh amazing. I'd go along with everyone and say "much better than my view of" but my view is pretty nice actually. It's LOVELY weather, all the trees are turning yellow and red and gold and there's a constant breeze. Perfect autumn weather, I have to say! :D (just wait'll the weekend though, it ALWAYS turns cold for the weekend. urgghhh haha)

I can't complain, but I'm excited to come back to cold snowy weather. I think my white ass has gotten almost as much sun as I can stand.... def more pics to come! :P

Actually there is no snow here, and its been quite warm, which is odd. but still nowhere near as gorgeous as where your at right now! i see your having a good time! haha enjoy the rest of your stay!

Omg, it's been amazing- done so much! Went snorkeling today... went swimming in the Luminous Lagoon last night... went on the Bob Marley tour ;)
