New to forum, Xbox 360 console player, not into PC format as much since I usually use a Mac for work (designer). Currently living in Grenada in the Caribbean (West Indies), previously lived in Newcastle, UK for a year and I originate from the US.

Currently playing Black Ops since new games do not get sold here on the island, but hoping to pick up all the new games when I am in US over holidays.

Ha thanks! Though I do love my MacBook Pro, I am hoping to pick up a i5 or i7 laptop while I am back in the states in Dec. So I will be up and running with Win 7 and back in the Steam games.

I am currently playing Black Ops. I have Halo reach as well. Unfortunately it's not possible to get new games here on this island. I will be picking up BF3, MW3 and Batman in Dec. Hoping they all work on my UK xbox. play-asia says they will... though I am not 100% about online for BF3.

UK Xbox has different region-coding than the Xbox one, so the US games won't work on it :(

I used mine in Romania, but I guess that makes since, using my same XBox and wireless.

I'm sure people have the game in his region too, though.

I have checked on play-asia . com and the games I am looking to get show that the US NTSC games work on PAL. I have obviously not been able to test this but that site specializes in testing and acting as a database for game/region compatibility.

So that being said, is there anything else that would keep those specific games from working on my Xbox? I know not ALL games work, but MW3, BF3 and Batman should.. Right?

Fav games...

Grid was a bad ass racing game.
Halo Reach is good, just feels slow after playing Black Ops now.
Dead Space 2 was fantastic!
COD Black Ops is my go-to right now.

I also have a Wii for "family-fun" games, but we left that in the US right now. I like the Lego games on that console and any multi-player sports games.

Sold my PS3 last year since it was too big to pack in my suitcase when we moved to UK.
