I'm looking for a good PC Sims game, I really loved them when I was a bit younger. I can't remember the one I am looking for but if you want just suggest some good ones to me. :) The one I remember playing would be nice to have some nostalgia with, there are few details I remembered, but a few would be:

Playing An Instrument With The Reaper
Getting a Job

Sorry, I know that may leave a wide selection.
But like I said, feel free to suggest some good ones too, money isn't an issue, so you can include expansions. :)

For the most part, there was only Sims 1 and Sims 2, and they all had expansion packs. I know the consoles/handhelds had spinoffs (Sims Bustin' Out, and Urbz Sims in the City) but there was just 1 and 2 I think on the PC for older ones.

Go for number 3. Even my crappy laptop runs it alright, and it gives you the best bang for your buck. You can get jobs and barter with the devil with all 3, so it's your choice. I actually bought my mom the Sims 1 collection with all the expansions for $12 at a thrift store, so check places like that too man.

It wasn't so much those features, but just the tone I got from the game, I will say yes, and please reply telling me it is, or isn't:
Modern Era
People Don't Talk (They Go OOOH BLAH BLUH AHHHH, I always loved that.)
There's plenty of expansions
That's all I really want in it, just some content and laughs, thanks. :D

I like Sim Societies and the original Sims :) I prefer the ones where you build up cities and towns vs the ones that focus on character creation.

I have to disagree. Sim City 4 was amazing real fun game, but Sims Societies I found horrible :s and sice Sim City 5 was never made Cities XL took its place, and I believe that it did an amazing job.

Other then that get Sims 3 with Pets it's really the best sims out there right now

Lol I loved Societies because you could have sunken ships and haunted houses and stuff :D But I’d always get frustrated after like an hour because my people were emo and never happy…. which is about the time I’d whip out a UFO attack >:)

Sims 3 is really fun until your character disappears while taking a trip... And doesn't come back... It could be because she was a vampire too... I dunno it pissed me off... And everything is up to date... But yeah sims 3 is awesome... But there are more expansion packs for the later... It would be awesome if they worked for every game... :(

I seen it on sale for $9 at walmart. My guess is it didn't do to well? But it did look cool...

Oh, $9 that’s never a good sign haha I was never sure if it was an expansion for a past Sims, or a whole new game itself.

I think I like sims 2 better. :/
Don't get me wrong, I'm really enjoying sims 3, but it just misses that silliness that sims 2 had, such as aliens and things, so I bought both in the long run. Enjoying it now, and sims 2 was the game I was talking about. :P

I actually never played the 2nd. Had sims 1 and have Sims 3 with all expansions except for medieval and pets. I really want pets though haha

They're a really fun series and the 'talking' in it is great. I haven't even begun to really explore the sims 3 fully.

It's not even a real mmo lol
You can visit other peoples houses but its not like you're actually interacting with other poeple.
Sims Social is addictive and lame. The real sims is 1000000x better.
