Surprised there wasn't one of these already....

Picked up the golden bundle of skyward sword last night.

Played the first hour, haven't gotten to any dungeons yet, its just been building up the backstory and characters.

Anyone else pick this one up? If so share your experiences!

Is it just me or does Zelda's father's face looks like the owl from Ocarina?

I completed it a few minutes ago and just:

i got it today and gave it a go its pretti sh*t, i hate the long talking parts and the action isent even hard

The great thing about Zelda isn't to do with how hard the game is but it's great fun. Just love the game and I can see me playing several times. But it's not as good as OoT and MM, they are classics.

It's no Dark Souls but the wii motion plus controller really adds to the combat. You can only defeat certain enemies with the right type of (real-life) movements. That's something I've been looking for.

Also long talking parts? Play Final Fantasy X and then get back to me on that one.

MGS was a story based series. Weaved an amazing story around great action.

However, skyward sword is pretty awesome. Nowhere near ocarina or majoras, but it is a very good game.

Yeah but Skyward Sword easily beat Twillight Princess thought, probably one of the best Zelda game out there.

If you got a Wii you definely should get this game.
It's the Wii motion that make this game even more interesting. :D

I haven't been all to keen on getting this game, though I'm a huge Zelda fan. My light kind of fizzled out to a slow burn because of the release of Skyrim. My question is: should I pick it up? D;
