Anyone like the new look?
I don't mind what they did when you're viewing the videos, but what they did to the channel makes me think that they are just trying too hard. I hope they don't force everyone to switch over, I like my set up now.

Overall I'm fine with it, but I'm with you in regard to the new channel designs.. Some are still retaining the look of the old layout though so maybe (hopefully) that option with still be there.

I think it has a better look, just needed to figure out where everything is again. I'm sure I'll be fine with it in a week or so.

I think the layout looks better than it did. I thought it was about time for a change anyway. I like it.

I thought it was ok, now is mostly only to get used to the system, in a week or so I will not even notice the new system.

I don't like it, I can't look which new Videos of the people I subscribed were uploaded without clicking on "Subscriptions", it's annoying. With the old Design I could just scroll down on the first page after I logged in.

Why don't they make a good comment reply system instead of updating the interface? I'm sick of those @ replies. I can code you a better comments structure than theirs in 5 minutes.

I like it. It's a matter of time until I get used to it. Google is changing all its services, it wouldn't be different with Youtube.

I hoped that they had changed the comment system cause the one they had and I think they still have it sucks. You cant see all your comments you make with vids, only if someone quote you, and then you sometimes have to search for it anyway.

Lol I just hate YouTube comments period.
Pretty sure I could do a study on how you can pick ANY video and find a argument about spelling, religion, politics, and how stupid everyone but the commenter is...
****ing trash below all the videos if you ask me.

I'm a fan of the new youtube, haven't seen how it changed channels though so no opinion there.
It looks like a real, organized website now.
@Mordry Does your homepage not automatically go to subscriptions? Mine does D:

Dont forget the wars between different games (if you look at games)
Mostly someone start a war about bf3 vs mw 3.
And people just attack eachover there. I had a discussion with another guy on youtube. I said what I thought and didnt do any attacks against him as a person. The only thing I did was to say my point in a pretty calm way.
And in the next answer he just starts to insult me, calling me an idiot and say that I should stop talking bull****.

I changed to the new look, going to leave it on for a while to see if I can get used to it.
I don't know if their subscription stuff is working properly though, since yesterday, I've gotten emails about several subs but none increased the actual number on my channel. I thought it was someone people subscribing then other unsubscribing, but it's weird when it happens at the same time.

I'm sure theres bound to be bugs with it, probably why they're giving the option to change over and not forcing it.

Maybe. I also found their new analytics thing, keeps track of subscribers gained and lost. In the past 3 days, I gained 6 and lost 2, so my number should have increased by 4, but instead it's down by 1.
I like their new stats though, lets you know about favorites, likes, subscriptions, etc. much more efficiently.

I actually like it. I think it looks a little cleaner and responds a lot better than the previous version.
Although, I'd change how you can cancel out of a subscription. That tiiiiiny little X in the box, you can BARELY click it. I thought it was just me but it's like you can just graze the corner to cancel out of the subscription. lol

I dont know, I got mixed feelings about this. its good cause its well organized now. and ... now I dont see multiple feeds of 'recommended videos'. its all on one column.
it looks very much like myspace... kind of.

I actually believe the new design and features are a nice improvement.

And they fixed the subscription issue. I reported it as a bug a few days ago.
But I don't know where the channel comments are anymore, I know there is a box to post a comment, but then it disappears.

I don't really like the new look, to me it just feels like a pain in the ass to do anything. I prefer the old layout 100 fold

I just noticed the "latest activity" value - mine says Oct 30, 2007
Still haven't been able to figure this out fully. Don't know if I should switch back yet.
