The title is self explanatory.
If you do, do you use instruments or a software? What instruments/software?
I create my own music using FL Studio and my piano sometimes. I will post samples when it doesn't break the rules for me...

I'm in a band. we don't use FL or pro tools or anything but I want to start doing electronic music too.

With FL you can record the music you make and add electronic music to it.
You need a really high quality recording device, though.

I make my own music (usually just acoustic instrumentals) I used to play in a band and FL studios is amazing! There is so much you can do on it and so many different sounds. I havent quite found the right sound for a bass drop i like tho...

I've attempted to use FL Studio..
That's about it, got myself a few decent plugins, played around with a few piano melodies.
Never really went into all the dance, techno, electronic side of the software.. just not my sort of music...

Massive is my favorite one. Unfortunately I havent been able to really mess around with it to get sounds I really like.

I'd love to try getting into beat/dubstep making.

But I'm afraid the software will require me to spend hours upon hours learning it from some guy who has years of computer and coding experience that I simply will not be able to wrap my mind around lol

FL studios is actually pretty easy to use. If you know any music theory you can write songs super easy and if not you can just mess around until you find something you like. There are tutorials you can find on youtube as well.

Eps - let's collaborate on something maybe in the future because I've just recently gotten back into making music, especially electronic. I'm looking into buying Korg's small (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/nanoPAD2wt/) and/or larger (http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PadKONTROLbk/) usb bus-powered pad controllers :)

imo, learning how to use sequencing and/or recording software isn't too hard, just takes some time and patience. Learning how to play instruments/record/edit/mix/master/produce is where the art lays :)

fruity loops used to be fun... when I was in high school, made beats based off of a simple system of samples, and custom packs.... but then one of my friends messed my computer up and took most of the credit. tried to get us signed and.... eh. its a long story...

anyway, try ableton, or reason. other programs are good, but these are what i use the most. and no, I dont have a soundcloud, I should make one though. I make music. just of the underground hip-hop kind.
