Which one do you prefer better? Elevator or Escelator?

Which one do you prefer better? Escelator Or Elevator?

I'm going with elevator because it's quicker

when i was younger it would have been Escelator because they were so fun i used to go up and down them for a laugh.

Escalators cause you can run up the down and down the up. Also you could slide down the sides or middle and hope that you down get cough. :laugh: So far I haven't been seen doing it, but I almost fell off backwards.

escalators, you're not enclosed in a small space and if the electricity goes out you can still move around and they're fun to run up and down.

Escalator for me too! They can be really fun with the running up and down, and running up the down side or down the up side. It's just really amusing compared to a stupid elevator.

i said elevator because it is quicker and you cant fall down the steps if someone pushes you :D

ive always been weary of being stuck in an elevator because of movies lol. I dont like being stuck in a small space for ages especially on my own :O

that happened to me like twice when i used to live in an apartment lol, i was little and it was pretty scary and i was going crazy - once i was alone the second time with a friend, which was better cuz i had somebody to talk to :twitcy:

30 mins or so and over an hour with the friend cuz the elevator went below the cellar for some reason and wasnt coming back up lol - my thought was "great im buried alive in a big coffin like elevator"

Technically you are safer in the elevator. If a bomb went off or siomething like that. Because the elevator shaft is the strongest part of a building

I don't know but in the world trade center people lived because they went into the elevator shaft. It says so in the WTC Movie with Nicholas Cage ;-)

i saw a cartoon, and a guy was in an elevator, and it went really fast, and he started to float, so every time i went to a hotel, business, etc, i'd always use the elevator.

but, now escalators are way better,

even though i love escalators because they can be fun to go up and down :p. The other day when i went to tescos the bloody thing stopped working so we had to wait till it worked so we could push the trolley down..

I was in the main city train station (cardiff, for anyone else living in Wales) and we took the elevator which is technically a service elevator judging by the size (one of us didn't buy a ticket.. or was someone lazy... i can't remember) but were in there... 8 of us and another guy we didn't know and the elevator stopped, we all started joking about it and then we all started getting anxious, one of us started messing around in the elevator i was just like "ah shi-ummm.. not good.. i'm kinda like claustrophobic..." i think my sister was there actually.. can't quite remember... so we kept joking around and we started talking to the other guy in the elevator and messing around more.. we were probably stuck for 10minutes i can't remember... still don't know why that elevator broke down..... the local hospital has 20 floors but i'll still run up the stairs rather than take the elevator... escelator ftw :P

for some odd reason im afraid of escalators dont ask me y i think it has somthin to do with my vision and the fact that im affraid of hieghts. and i dont like elevators cuz im parchily clawtro phobic so i chose niether i know im F*&ked up
