Problem with mp3s

I'm not sure if it's itunes doing this or what, but a lot of times when I put an MP3 on my computer, it randomly messes up and then halfway through the song, it starts the song over and there's no way to fix it that I can tell, I just have to delete the file and get another mp3 of that song. Anybody know what's going on or how to fix it?

Try to open it using another player like Winamp or something and see if it does that still. If it does, then it's probably with the file or the place you're getting the MP3 from.

Generally if a song stops or loops before finishing is because it wasn't fully downloaded. Happened to me on itunes once when I bought a few songs, my internet dropped half way through but I thought I got the songs.

No I mean, I'll download it, and it'll be fully downloaded, I'll listen to the full thing on itunes a few times, and then out of nowhere, like 20 seconds in it just goes back to the beginning of the song and it plays all the way through. It changes the actual file, because they're messed up on my ipod and if i play them through any other media player too.

Ah, then No idea. If it's iTunes itself, then a reinstall might help. But I haven't had your issue.
