I wonder if I'm the only one...

But I've come to the point where I'm such an addict to gamerscore that when I start a new game I choose the hardest level no matter how average I am to get the best score possible.

There's even a facebook page called "Choosing the hardest level in an Xbox game for the gamerscore"

Who of you does it?!

Or is it usually on repeat you try it on the hardest level and I'm the only one stupid enough to try going for gold first time around. :p

Heck no :')
I choose the hardest difficulty because then, if it's too hard, I can jump down to 'normal' and it seems like a breeze because I'm already used to the most difficult setting! I feel it improves my gameplay, since you won't really progress past the metaphorical bar which each difficulty sets.

Games such as Battlefield, Call of Duty and others where I've grown accustom to the gameplay I jump straight into the hardest difficulty..
Other that I'm not so aware of. I'll play the first few 'missions' in the hardest difficulty to get a feel for the game then drop down to normal if I find I'm struggling too much..

Sometimes I do. There's no challenge on Normal/Hard when I'm playing with friends. When all of the Halo's came out, we went on Legendary with the four of us. It was challenging enough and we still got all the story line!

Plus that sweet sweet gamerscore...I used to be a GS hound but not so much anymore. After I hit about 23K, I just gave up lol
