I think doing something like this together would be a fun forum activity. We get a movie a week to watch and we watch it and discuss and debate about it. Who would be interested in such a thing?

I hope we can get a decent level of participation. Therefore we can throw up some suggestions then have a poll and whatever wins is the movie of the week. Perhaps have movies with 0 votes that week bumped out for awhile or something or the lowest 25% of the poll bumped and new added for the new movie selection. I dunno just throwing some ideas out on how we can do this. Many ways really.

I'd be down for it too but not sure how much participation you'll get for me, I'm about to get very busy in a week and even busier at the end of the month.

It'd be a neat idea, but I'm not sure how it would work. We'd all have to get a service like Netflix or something (there's no more rental stores in my town and many others, with Blockbuster and Rogers going under) and verify everybody could watch it (Canadian Netflix is like half of what the USA one is.) But I like the idea, and would be interested in taking part when I could!

Netflix would be the easiest way, but not everyone has it. We could do public domain movies, but they are normally all old and bad lol.

Not all bad. Hulu has a bunch.

I don't have netflix though, every time I think about getting it, I find myself without time to use it, it's gonna be the same now too so I don't want to pay (even if it's just $8) for something I won't use at all.

I have on-demand though through cable, tons of movies there. But I agree that coordinating will be a bit difficult.
