I've seen many GTA V wishlists online, but what is GAMERS-FORUM's GTA V wishlist??

Feel free to discuss and add to the list!

I'll start us off:


Being able to making character unique and different like in Saints Row 3rd, just more realistic.
Bring back car customization.
I've seen Police Mod's for GTA IV which seem real fun, I wish they would go more in depth with the police missions!
Ability to buy cars, houses, boats, etc
Fix the bug where cars spawn out of nowhere
More accessible buildings
Own businesss
MORE CARS
Changing seasons (winter, fall, etc.)
Make the drivers more realistic. Example: If you stand at a red light they shouldn't just go around you like maniacs.
Jobs? Maybe? (real ones haha)
Make the streets even more livelier. Example: cars randomly parking on the side of the road, pulling in and out of parking lots etc.
Cops make random traffic stops and respond to crashes, ambulances drive to random emergencies, etc.
Add more fun mini games
KEEP THE NIGHTCLUB THING
I know this will never happen but I ALWAYS wish for licensed cars in GTA.
Improve Multiplayer
Bring back a big map like in GTA: SA with countryside etc.
Sports teams! And have the city affected by a game going on. Example: People going to a match once a week (you're able to watch too)
Public transportation services, including buses!
Heavier rains and natural disasters
Construction work actually being completed
Speedometers in cars
Police actually caring about how you drive
Bicycle and other people biking!
Interior car view!!!!

the map is about the same as SA same spot but that spot i supossed to be like cali so the winter season where it snows unlikley i would add more gangs and possibly real gang like the bloods or the HA that could be fun. also if you set a buiding on fire stuff burns and becomes ashes also random fires that fire trucks go to

Yeah I doubt that GTA will ever put in REAL LIFE things such as gangs,cars, companies but it'd be great!

I think car companies may be worried that appearing in GTA could harm their image..

The Getaway was a good game in like 2002 or something that had licensed cars.

You do realize that the only reason GTA IV didn't have some of these options was the 360 right?
I don't think that GTA V will be a PC and PS3 only game (since they've made so much money from Xbox 360 gamers), so unless a newer, more powerful Xbox console comes out way before the release of GTA V, we will probably get a game similar to GTA IV.
If by any chance they actually do make a surprisingly huge GTA V, I would like to see better stand-up - maybe feature comedians such as Louis CK, Jeff Dunham, Russel Peters, Carlos Mencia... Not the ****ty guys from GTA IV.
Next, battles should be more challenging, I finished GTA IV with 0 deaths in the statistics. Maybe they should add a first person view during gunfights - that would be fun.
I don't have the time to go into more details right now, so I'll write more tomorrow. There are a couple of new things I'd like to see in GTA V, and a couple of features I'd like to see unchanged. I'll list all of them tomorrow.

more lifelike pedestrians and not just walking victims.
Better AI for people driving, also to make the cops chase other people.
Dynamic weather and also (if the story is set under longer time) seasons. For example if it turns winter there are new vehicles availible like snowmobiles and of course snow :p

More details on the cars, and better destructions.
Make more houses enterable.
Dirt on the cars(the more you drive the dirtier they become, if it isnt already implemented)

Keep the radio but also have more channels.
More classic cars(I love all new sports cars but sometimes I want to drive older beauties, and wreck them)

Drive SF had licensed cars but they never blew up. I believe blowing up cars is a major part of GTA in general isn't it haha and I doubt BMW or Audi or any others would like to see their cars blow up in a game...

In San An., even if I was 1,000 miles from land, there was sea life, Fishes, and jellies, it made the game way more realistic.

I don't like the idea of sports games in the game. Have you any idea how big the game is going to be if there are sports matches in it? It won't be fun, and it will contribute to the game's size and system requirements. Also, character customization would be an overkill. In a game like GTA, it is better to play as a character chosen by the creators of the game, rather than making one yourself.
I think that GTA V should be like a mixture of all GTA games. While I don't like the idea of character customization, I would like to see barber shops, gyms, more clothes and combinations. Yes, RPG elements like the ones listed above, as well as weapon experience, vehicle experience, stamina, strength, weight etc.
They should also make it bigger, with the environment being similar to SA. And maybe the sharks could actually attack you. Also, dogs, cats and other animals should wander around the city. It would make it feel more realistic.
How many of us actually drive like normal people in GTA anyway? Even the ones who do, usually get bored and start driving like madmen after a while. Therefore, I don’t think that police reacting to driving speed and bumping into objects would be a good feature in the new GTA. I liked the way it was a bit tougher to escape the police in GTA IV (especially when you have like four stars) and they should leave it that way.
As for jobs, I prefer the Caps Lock option from Vice City and San Andreas. You get into a vehicle, hit Caps Lock and you keep getting objectives as long as you can complete them in time. It was a fun and an easy way to get money. I don’t see the point in having an actual job in GTA. It’s stupid.
And how long do you expect the game to be in order for seasons to shift? It would be nice if seasons shift over time, but only if they shift as a part of the storyline (something like the protagonist saying “May the same year” and talking about the situation he’s in, after which you get to play during spring).
Well, that would be it. Maybe more guns and toys to play with (like the huge arsenal of weaponry in San Andreas). And under toys I mean: war vehicles, planes, choppers, jets, a jetpack (like in SA) etc.
There are probably more things I would like to see in GTA V, such as skateboards, roller skates, purchasable MP3 players (so you can listen to music while walking or during shootouts), but that would be it. As long as the game runs smooth and is bug-free, I’m ok with it.

Yeah, that was what I thought, otherwise it would be to fast.

Also I want the weather to be more than just cosmetic changes. Maybe the cars get a little more slidy when its raining but I want more things, fog that makes it harder to see, rain makes dirt roads muddy and so on. If there is snow it will be reall slidy and sometimes storms will show up(normal storms and snow storms) as well as snow is more layers and not just change of textures.

Cars did get dirty over time in GTA IV (and you could take them to a carwash to get them cleaned) and there was fog, wind and rain, although they didn't effect the control you have over vehicles.
I would also like for GTA V (if seasons do change) to make you dress in clothes suitable for the climate. Something like a meter telling you that your character is cold, warm etc. It would feel more realistic and will force you to buy clothes - rather than saving them all for weapons.
I am aware of the fact that GTA is not supposed to be realistic, but these features would make it more entertaining and fun to play.

Sounds cool, but also a bit ridiculous. Are you saying we do a few bad things and we are pinned bad guys for the rest of the gameplay? Or just for some time, or to people who saw the crime. Because if that was so, the police would be constantly after me, xD

But I like the idea...

I have some new ideas, not just thinking back:
-Stealing (Purses, shopping bags, clothes)
-Targeting Cars (Simply to make a driver angry, or get payback on someone you had a collision with)
-New places to place grenades, (Pockets, inside cars)
-Smoke Grenades
-Customizable Clothing (Like what angle you have a hat in)
-Gaining Strength (Can't remember if that was a skill in SA)
-Phones Can Take Pictures And Store Them)
-Spray Painting (Like SA's, but you control what you paint)
-Night Vision Goggles/Scopes
-Drugs(Don't get me wrong, drugs are bad, but it would be fun to drive and not be able to see)
-Relationshop building (Like choosing your GF, instead of the few on sites)
