Was looking forward to relaxing this weekend, but I got home today and our central AC seems to have decided to join life in ****ing me over.

It's supposed to be in the 90s the next few days too so not only will I be miserable but I won't be able to game or anything cause I don't wanna overwork my PC.

Wine is a program that allows you to run windows programs on linux type OSes. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 because I am too cheap to buy Windows. I was having trouble getting World of Warcraft (might as well play since I still have 5 days left) running. It was because the drivers that Ubuntu uses for my Intel graphics card don't work well with OpenGL (Which is kinda like the Ubuntu Directx). So when I tried running WoW directly through OpenGL it would give me an error message and wine would crash. When running it with Directx through wine (Using wine to run wine O_O) it was terribly slow because running it in Directx mode still goes through OpenGL. So to fix my problem I made it so that wine could not access any of the advanced shader and rendering options so I could only run WoW on the lowest setting (Which is what I did on windows anyway). Now it performs about as well as when it was on windows except it takes a minute or two to load player models when I enter dungeons or logon. So hopefully I will be able to play Diablo when that comes out in 5 days and if not ima RAGE!!!!!

My computer's hard drive was broken by my roommate. So I had him buy me a nicer one. Being a brand new hard drive it didnt have windows on it. Windows costs 70 or 80 dollars or so. Instead of buying it I just decided to use Ubuntu.

yeah I liked it, the game got a pretty chill cartoonish style and it was a fresh change from normal shooters(I made a review about it).

2. Diablo 3.
Not Mich needs to be said. This has actually taken up most of my time but I feel less shallow mentioning family first :p. Can't play on my now crappy comp, so I've been using my fathers. I will be without D3 for a but now :'(.

I signed my soul away to blizzard for free D3. No school for guildies = more amazing fail guild runs. I broke WoW though so that's now outta the picture.
4. Python.
Tons of my non-game time has gone towards learning about programming. I'm awesome at it.

I broke WoW so I played some Minecraft. I've played for about 12 hours straight, found the server's stronghold, built everything, nuked it then built it again and then realized I could've wasted my time on something more constructive like spending time outside or creating my own game :p
6. Food.
I cook the most amazing shrimp ever. For breakfast lunch and dinner. Every day of the week so far

Since my brother doesn't have D3 on account of him having a life and getting deployed I play it when my father doesn't use his computer. I play WoW with him and a bunch of family friends and their friends. We have the 4th largest guild on my server (15 people.). I recently broke WoW so I played some Minecraft

I have tried one similar game for some days but after some time I just got bored of it and quit. Whats almost worse is that the games send commecrials to your friends(I got several friends that play and it always come small messages about this and that.

Had people over Fri night until about 3 am. Had to get up at 10ish to get ready to go to Philly. Then I went to see Tenacious D Saturday and didn't get home to bed until 3. Then had to get up Sunday morning at 9 to help the hubby's dad move and paint. Then went to bed at like 12:30 last night and got up at 7 for work. Wanna naaaaap >_<

That's why I love sending checks lol For our landlord, they have to be stamped by the PO by the 1st. Then it normally takes a couple days to get to him, and then a couple for him to deposit it. So I've got a few extra days of leeway.
