Getting a New Place

So, because I've been in my current house for a year, my landlord has decided to up the rent and we've decided not to stick around.

I've got 'til the end of the month to find a new place and I'm sick of dealing with roommates so I'm really hoping to find something that I can afford on my own.. I do have something temporary set up if that doesn't happen, though only as a last resort.

Anyway the point of this thread is that either way, getting my own place or settling into the temp situation for however long, I'll be without internet for an unknown amount of time, hopefully not long.. So if I randomly drop off for a while, that's why.

Hahaha. If I ever acquire a mansion I'll be sure to host a GF meet-up, and since that implies I'll be filthy friggin rich, I'll even pay for everyone's travel expenses :P

Anyway, I've had no luck finding a place but last night I got the okay to stay with some family, which is better than my original fallback but still not as good as having my own place. I'll likely start moving this weekend and I'll only be without the internet for around a week, so I won't be gone as long as I anticipated.

If I don't come back, you should assume I was killed in a horrible accident and enjoy a cherry poptart to remember me by, because I love those ****ing things.

Welp, been back for a little while now, but just got the last bit moved over today (staying with my cousins, they moved at the beginning of the month), only a few blocks from my old place so it was an easy move. Actually had the net switched over earlier but I was sleeping at the other place so I was still gone for a few days (plus, the outlets in my room were lighting up the fault indicator on my surge protector, so we had to have that fixed)

Still looking around for a place entirely my own but at least I don't feel pressured.


We should all pitch in and buy an island, and make it our own country. I'd totally move there.
