Movie Club: Week 1 is Ink

Here's a basic structure, feel free to suggest what should be in a OP. Also as well as discussing movie, don't forget to add suggestions for Week 2! :)

I guess I'm going to be the first to do a little write up, I'll probably be posting a long the way as I'm no good at doing reviews. Visually shot I really liked, plot wise it was ok. A little bit confusing. I think overall it was an average to above average movie. One mini fact, this movie was made on a budget of just 250k, this movie seemed to have a bigger budget.

I just finished it as well. I agree that it was a bit confusing. I wish they explained it more through out the movie. I guess it all came together at the end ( kinda ). I thought it was an okay movie, definitely interesting.

They kind of leave you in the dark for the first half of the movie but I thought the ending came together nicely. They did an amazing job with the budget they had and visually it was pretty awesome. The costumes were cool and the acting was pretty good. It wasn't an aamaaaazing movie but it has definitely stuck out in my mind.

The path finder was my favorite character, I thought he was pretty funny.

Yeah, I kind of got the idea what was going on at the beginning. They never really tell you why they do it either. One of those movies that leaves you wondering 100 different things. Hate that.

Thank you for taking my suggestion! I love this movie. It has this sort of fairy tale feel to it in the beginning, but they turns very cryptic. The cinematography was outstanding. The acting was borderline ridiculous (blind dude with his 1,2,3 thing haha), but I enjoyed how over the top it was at times. 7/10 easily.

My next suggestion would be Ides of March. Movie was amazing.

Yes the comedy was spot on I thought haha. The nightmares were essentially a representation of how he had changed into a morally challenged individual. His greed has turned him into a bad memory for his father and the people who knew him. They needed the girl to save him from delving too deep into the darkness basically. They were sort of his angels if that makes sense.
