We're trying to catch up to the usergroups for the end of the month, already in process.

It's not necessarily how long you've been a member... You were gone for a really long time, so you just got back again, but you will still have to move up in the ranks like everyone else.

It's also people who show qualities and prove themselves to be good role models for being members, etc.

I don't use length of time as something that I consider when I vote to upgrade someone to a Veteran, except for people who are really new. I vote based on activity and personality, pretty much.

Activity bumps people up/down in the ranks, as well.

It's not just post count we're looking at, we use a wider range of criteria as muffin pointed out. If it was solely based on the 2k posts a year that some of these adults can't seem to make to per year, then we'd have a different set of vets right now.

The keyword used is also "role model."

What...? If you mean what I said by activity... post count isn't very important. It IS important if someone just disappears for several months o_O That's what I meant by activity. If you look at the vets we have, they aren't people who necessarily post a lot. However, they have a lot of great characteristics and they make quality posts. I look at the quality of someone's posts, how they present themselves, as well as many other factors. I think you misunderstood me.

When someone comes in nearly a half a week later and throw in his peanut gallery commenting, it's not a pwn. It just took him that long to come up with something remotely intelligent. Especially when the A D M I N already came in and answered. What is it with the bandwagon bs with this new mod team... Jesus.
