SOPA is basically already out of the picture. I doubt PIPA will pass as well. I appreciate this whole thing but I believe all the people who actually care about this have already sent in complaints. Thank you though..

It seems 10 senators flipped stances yesterday. I think PIPA is dying, but don't think we won't have to fight again for our internet rights. They will come back again bro's fight the man!

More Senators Abandon PIPA, But Lead Author Says Blackout Sites Wouldn't Have Been Affected (http://kotaku.com/5877550/more-senators-abandon-pipa-but-lead-author-says-blackout-sites-wouldnt-have-been-affected)

Website Pro Publica, which hasn't caught up with the Grassley news yet (they will), counts the declared PIPA positions in the Senate as 39 for, 19 against, 7 leaning no and 36 unknown. The bill, which is scheduled for a vote on January 24 would need a majority to pass and 60 to overcome a Filibuster. "

So its still going somewhat strong. I'm sure they are getting plenty of pressure from supporters as well.

Heard about that today at work.

But the Sopa/pipa bills won't take sites down, it'll give the Attorney general to order ISPs to block certain IP's and Domains which would affect this country only.
