First off, let me introduce myself. Most people call me Duke.
My gamer tags are usually 1337Mizchif, 519Duke, or DukeMizchif.
I am a musician, lyricist, creative consultant and avid gamer.
My day job, I make money as Tech Support for a independent ISP.
My job allows me to bring in the Nintendo DS, now my upgraded 3DS, to play games while I help people get back online so they can play their MMO's. Or at least I wish they were playing MMO's instead of crying about how they can't gossip on FB.
Regardless, I hate my job, love the people I work with. Most of them are gamers who remember the good 'ole days, as I am sure many of you do.
A history of my gaming? Well why not.
I was born in 1987, two years after the best thing I ever owned, my orginal GameBoy. This was my first gaming console, and I loved Tetris, and eventually I was playing Pokemon Red.
I was THAT kid in the school yard, the one you went to so you could learn how to defeat the Elite 4. (more like 5, how come they never include the current champ?)
From the GB I graduated to SNES, and from there I graduated to GBC, then PS, then N64, then PS2, then GameCube, then GBA, then XBox, then... then... tabletops.
Now now, before any of you bash my dice rolling glory, let me say this.
It ran on the best graphics card ever made... my imagination.
Anyways, I'm that guy most of my friends hate. I gave up on FPS after I sucked ass at Golden Eye on the N64. And I am a Nintendo Junkie.
And I have to say, my best memories are playing Street Fighter on Sega Genesis, and BattleToads on the SNES.
So, that's me in a nutshell when it comes to gaming.
EDIT: Okay, have to also say, that if anyone ever encounters me in Madden NFL online, I run that *ish all day!!!
