So what are your take on DLCs.

Some DLC is okay, but it does get a little bit ridiculous after awhile. I mean if it's actually an expansion, like maybe the ones for Oblivion, that was fine. But I think add ons to the game, like adding new cars to racing games or some of the DLC for bioshock where it's just tonics and weapons. Those are dumb. The maps for FPS game are getting a little dumb too.

TBH Xbox live is pissing me off atm. I pay for netflix, 12 somethinfg a month, I go to watch it on my xbox 360, but I canceled my xbox live subscription. Apparently if you don't have hold for the 360, you can't use any of the apps that you payed for THROUGH OTHER COMPANIES. Why should I have to pay 8 extra dollars a month to watch netflix which I'm already paying for.

Its because it cost so much to patch or update a game. The DLC has to be planned so that they can sneak in updates and fixes that a normal PC game would be able to update for free.

Microsofts ****ty service made this the more cost effective model. I mean, this even extends into the lack of beta testing in general for a lot of games, but some small fixes will always be needed regardless.
