If you follow the earnings of youtube stars you will know that top earnings make bank and considering RWJ gets so many views. 1,594,368,306 in his channel lifespan. Then no, it's really no surprise. 1.5 billion views just off cutting vids together, this guy hit a gold mine.

Anyone technically can make tons but this is just like gold mining during the rush or now. Some make bank, most fail to gain popularity

If we did a bunch of video reviews, and playthroughs. Linux could use the money to help fund the site feature/have video game contests with the ad money. That'd be pretty interesting

Can't use games to make money through partnership, have to go through a few more channels.

I actually started with the GF YT channel last month, but haven't been able to get anywhere because of my new job.

It's such a shame how now his videos are degenerating because he can do whatever he wants and he'll get viewers. He takes peoples videos, whacks in a poor joke and that's t. Don't get me wrong, his show used to be good but it's grown a little too tedious for my liking. All in all, I didn't think it would even be possible to make that much money from YouTube just by ads.

Yeah, you need to sign up through something else, then that medium gets some money, the game creators get some money, Google gets some money, and then you get whatever is left.

But if you have enough viewers, that little bit of money adds up. I can definitely see people making a living off stuff like this.

That would be an interesting job, just playing games and doing playthroughs. Although I think the amount he play is a little unhealthy socially. He uploads so many vids.

Well I think the reason why he does so well for himself is his commentary while playing because he has a cam on tripod set up and synced with the tv so you can see him play and hear his live reactions
