So i came across this woman that plays violin with dubstep called Lindsey Stirling, some of you may have heard of her since she played violin/hiphop on america got talent.

While i didn't really like the Hip-hop Violin combo, she moved on to produce some songs independently and have uploaded some songs /w music videos to youtube where she plays the violin to dubstep.

I personally think it sounds amazing and i hope to see more of this in the future. :)

Here are some of her songs, enjoy. :)

Yea not really my thing either, But i've found that enjoy modern genre's like dubstep and Drum'n'Bass with old string instruments like Cellos, Vionlin, and Harps.

It takes relatively "monotone" genres and adds something to it that just makes it amazing. :)

I'm a fan of dub step, usually listen to it when I play league of legends or MMO's for some background noise.

But to me this isn't dubstep in my opinion, it's just not the same. Which make sense I guess, kind of a hybrid. It was good though.

I'm more of a classical / country sorta guy, it was the violin that caught my attention.

I listen to lots of genres, but mostly not dubstep, often I find them to repetative.
