For a couple of years now I have heard this strange clicking sound when Im out walking/running. So Im wondering does anyone else also hear it or what?

Its like in the back of my head and for almost every step I hear this "click", it doesnt hurt but its kinda annoying when when you always hear "click click click click"

However often it only longs for a few minutes and soon its silent again.

So again does anyone else here know what it is?

I dont know, it doesnt feel like tinnitus really, more like its more physical, maybe its the neck or something.

Hmm it sounds like it is from you posted. Because you said it only does it when you exercise, no pain and it's not constant. I'd just listen to music when you run.

It probably is tinnitus, when you stress your body, (Like running) tinnitus symptoms have a greater chance to appear.

But it comes also when Im just walking not running(not power walking but just a little bit faster than normal), and its exactly when I set down my foot I hear it.

Also it is tinnitus when I can make it stop by thrusting my head, at least for a while?

That i don't know, i think you should check with your doctor, not that i think it's anything serious. But just to make sure it's nothing to worry about.

Also, make sure that if the doctor can't give you a 100% straight answer, you demand one. too often lately have i been dismissed with something like "It's most likely/probably nothing to worry about" blablabla. You make THEM, make sure. :)

Very odd O_o I'd recommend the Dr, but Im one of those people that *never* go. Sounds like something really annoying, that they won't be able to fix anyways :/ Has it always been that way?

I have had the same thing my whole life. I totally thought I was crazy till the doctor told me it was just a disorder in my jaw that would never effect my health. Try clenching you're jaws when it happens because that normally stops it for me.
