So I wonder what are some oh the worst things you have encountered while on vacation.

It can be funny and you can also mention several things.

Im going to tell you about a hotel, it had 1 star

So from our bus group(bus travel to hungary) we were the only people staying at this hotel. The first thing we saw when we arrived was this huge pile of old madrasses half moldy and stinky and full of disgusting spots. Apparantly they had just changed them(thank god) before we came there. So we went in to hte "hotel" but saw now reception, the owner came down and said that we had to go to another hotel to get our keys(he owned two hotels) Luckily the two hotels where neighbours so we got the keys fast and were lead to our rooms.

The rooms werent so bad, they were small and had beds and on or two small benches but that was about it(we didnt expect much more for a 1 star). The day after we had to go to the other hotel again to eat breakfast, there we met up with a few other people living in that hotel(a 3 star hotel) but soon we found out that they had paid only a little more than us to get a ten times better hotel.

So nothing more happened, well not until the hot water heater burned up so we couldnt shower for all this time.

I have more memories but lets stay with this for now.

One year, my family and I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My uncle got drunk and went to a gas station to refill his Harley's gas tank. After filling it up, he forgot to place the gas cap back on. A pillar of fire came out and nearly smothered him. Being the "intellectual" he was, he covered it with his bare hand.

That sounds disgusting, man. I definitely wouldn't have eaten breakfast there :P

Hmm. I go to the Ozarks for about a week every summer. When I as younger, I decided to lay in the grass, basically naked (only shorts on) while we set off a bunch of fireworks.

Next morning. Chiggers. Everywhere. If you don't know what they are, lucky you. The bites of those little bastards are EXTREMELY itchy. Literally every inch of my body was covered in them. And I mean every inch. Basically, I've been to the deepest layer of hell; Satan sets a bunch of chiggers loose to feast upon your junk.

The next three days were torture. And then I discovered Unkers. Glorious Unkers <3

this was a long time back in Philippines, as a little child I always watched over my uncle's live-stock. all of a sudden he laughed. must have been evil... anyway, I went to play with my friends at the beach, went swimming and came back. suddenly I hear wails & screams of the animals. I check it out, and it was my uncle's live-stock being slaughtered. . . it was the worst vacation that I ever had, I was really sad. learned my lesson, never make friends with a chicken or pig, cause most likely they'll be turned into tasty food... haha! but really though, it was a big let down.

Must have been painful, I know what they are but I have never gotten bitten, they just run around outside the house waiting to get stomped.

@paecmaker….. Ugh, that sounds horrible lol Idda left :P

@Hyper_Reality…. That’s freakin skurry :X He was attempting a Ghost Rider impression, wasn’t he? :P

@Synge…. Are Chiggers like sand lice? Cause if so, I feel your pain man lol I went to the beach once as a kid and laid/played in the sand all day, and when we woke up the next day we had bites ALLLLL over us. Sucked bawls.

@Kenoi…. You’d think they’d have warned you! lol I’d totally be scarred for life O_o

My worst vacation experience was at the Outer Banks. I always used to go with my cousins, and since there was a ton of us we’d always rent a huge house. Well the one year we got this house….. was 3 floors. Like an upstairs with a kitchen/living room/master bedroom.. then the second floor with the rest of the bedrooms… and like a basement/rec area. So me and my cousin were laying in bed the first night… and the bed starts vibrating. Now this isn’t a place a quarter in the bed and it vibrates kind of place…. wasn’t near an airport or train station. So we were really freaked out…. next night the same thing happened. At this point, we were pretty freaked. So the next night me and her were up really late watching a movie in the basement. And my other cousins friend he brought came down. We asked why he was up so late… he hesitated at first, but then told us it was because his bed was shaking at night…. So we decide to ask everyone else the next morning about it. None of our other family members had this happening… that, or they just didn’t notice (which would be hard because it was *hard* vibrating) or just didn’t admit it. Now, I will tell you that I do not in any way shape or form believe in ghosts or any of that supernatural bs, and while I know there was some sort of explanation…. it was still freakin weird!!

Imagine the Ghost Rider with a beer-belly, bald head, goatee and handlebar combo, and a deep southern accent and you have my uncle XD i think he lost his goatee and most of his handlebars from the fire, but he ended up regrowing them.

Just wait till you see what he wears! His wardrobe is like 90% skin-tight leather and 10% jeans XD

LOL That's ok, it's *only* acceptable for rock stars and/or bikers to have handlebar staches and tight leather pants ;)

Or chicks with nice arses. The leather pants part, not the stache part xD
