Horror Films

Is anyone else here a fan of horror movies? What are your favorite ones?

Also, what ones would you recommend? I've seen the obvious choices (scream, halloween, friday the 13th, texas chainsaw, nightmare, hellraiser) so what else should I see?

I just watched the Evil Dead movies. The first one was alright...more of a horror movie but a bit on the cheesy side. Evil Dead 2 goes so over the top with the cheesiness that it's hilarious. Its more or less a very gory and morbid comedy. Third movie is more like The Princess Bride with tons of zombies.

Add Cabin in the Woods to your list.. AMAZING. It's Joss Whedon so there's lots of humour.

The funny thing is that people wont wanna split the cost of something with you, but if you get it they have no problem using it.

my soul to take? I think that's the one I'm thinking of, it's by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead), kinda funny gore stuff as well.

I am a bigger fan of horror movie. so many movie I have watched Online. My most favorite horror movie Saw 3D. I love the music of in this movie. The story seems to be good.

Saw is the Only One Movie That is Mine all time Favorite and This was really an amazing Movie when I seen it.

That's probably because no one really has the time or money to get people actually motivated. There have been a few things that I have thought about, but I don't have the resources to follow through. Maybe when I get more money, but that won't be for a few years.

it wouldn't really need money though, would it? we'd just go on some site, stream the movie, and have a chat...we could go on tinychat or something and replace the webcam feed with a stream of the movie, mute everybody else and just talk in chat

Lots of people stream movies through live stream or what have you, I'd definitely be down for that. Anyone be willing to stream for everyone?

You can honestly find a stream of any movie online. Seriously, 90% of the movies I watch are probably from a stream, decent quality, no downloads or anything. We could easily pick a movie, push play at relativity the same time. and then just go on IRC and we could talk there, I think it's more of "don't have time" aspect that was holding things back before.

Livestream would be good just so we have the chat right there and then we'll all definitely be at the same spot. It's definitely a don't have time thing haha, and I guess lack of someone to just go ahead and organize it?

I watched JYOUREI when I was a kid and have neve watched J-horror since. Totally traumatized....
On the other hand, i a totally ok with hollywood horror.
