Hey, I was wondering about how many names you guys have used through your years of gaming?

I started with Dark Emperor, when I started playing Team Fortress as a kid back in 1997.

Then later when my clan moved on to Counter Strike, they played this Hypertraxx song called "The Darkside" alot in the internet cafe we used to visit. So I took the name from the chorus, and I have used it in everything ever since.

Except in RTS game, where I have a weird urge to use the alias "BallsOfDoom" :D

And I have no idea where it derives from :p

I have never had a real gaming name before "paecmaker"

Now I use paecmaker for almost everything as I want the same name for all.

I think I have used TheGateKeeper for everything so far. If not, I don't really remember lol.

I started off as Darkvenom as a kid when I first began playing Runescape. Most people called be Dark or Venom just to avoid typing the whole name, so as I began to explore new MMO's, my gaming name became just Venom. After a while, I got annoyed with the amount of other players with the same or very similar name to mine, so I decided to go with something abstract. When I started a new MMO, I closed my eyes and randomly typed a couple letters in the username box and came out as Astari. I went under this name for a while, but became unsatisfied before long. When I got my hands on Black Ops, I became Hyper_Reality. I reason for this is because I wanted a unique name hardly anyone would think of duplicating and because its a reference to Stephen King's Insomnia
