Minecraft (RPG right?)

I thought I'd hate Minecraft at first. I thought it looked to crappy. But I played the free online version for a while and got addicted to it, 2 days after being hooked to the free online version I bought the game. I haven't seen any posts for it on here, it's RPG isn't it?

Sort of. I mean you run around and build ****, so it is a Role Playing Game. You are playing the role of a builder =D

Its more of a true sandbox game(litteraly)

As Paec said, it's a true sandbox game, so it depends on how you play it. There are tons of RP servers with various RP-based plugins installed to enhance the experience.

We actually do have a specific section (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?105-Minecraft)for it, in the "other games" category. You can't really classify it as anything, which is why Minecraft is so great!

I had the same feeling, I saw a few friends of mine (Pun?) playing it. And I thought "what the hell, let's give it a try" And yeah been hooked ever since.. I still remember the first time I heard a creeper Luckily I was on the phone t one of my said friends who immediately said "DUDE RUN FOR YOU PIX-ILLY LIFE"

I wouldn't consider Minecraft an RPG as much as I would a sandbox adventure game.
