Can't edit your profile?

Having trouble editing your profile? Don't worry, a lot of new people also have this problem.

It's explained in the rules, which can be located here (http://www.gamers-forum.com/showthread.php?16470-Gamers-Forum-Rules-Updated-9-19-2010), but in case you, for some reason didn't read the rules (god forbid) I'll explain it to you

New users can't edit their profile until they've made 10 posts and been a member for 24 hours. This is put into place to deter spammers. Just make 10 quality posts (no "thanks for the help" "that looks cool" "i guess so" posts) and come back the next day and you'll be ready to edit your profile!

That info is actually PMed and Emailed to them when they first join. That's why I rarely respond to those threads asking the question that's answered 2 seconds after they join.

Well I feel embarassed for new users who always post asking the same stupid thing. If this is here, and they still post asking why they can't edit their profile...then they're kinda stupid and I have no reason to hold back :P jk but seriously. It's getting annoying always seeing so many people posting the same thing when it's made very very clear.

I know how you feel.

Slight relevant tangent. At my job we have a clear sign that people aren't allowed past a certain point in the office and every single day we get at least 15-20 people walking past the big sign telling them Not to pass. I work at a college and most of the people that can't read are students, some professors.
