SOTW 135 :: Theme :: Sidekicks

Well what a comeback last weeks SOTW competition made. Some truly fantastic entries..

This weeks theme was suggested by Damage over at our theme suggestion thread

I have to agree, Sidekicks never get enough love..
So here we are, forget Batman, Robin deserves some of the spotlight..

I think you get the idea..

Here are your rules..

-Your sig must be no larger than 500x200. Any larger and you're going to have to cut some off..
-You must supply proof with your signature. We will not accept anything without proof. A screenie of your layers is just about perfect..
-No flash sigs, but GIFs are fine. It's always fun to see a bit of animation..

So let's kick the heroes out of this one..

Would Ryuk from DeathNote be acceptable? As he is sorta Light's Sidekick?
If not I'll go for Harley Quinn

Not knowing DeathNote to well and having just read up on Ryuk, I'm quite happy to allow him in. Harley Quinn is just as good as Joker's sidekick.

I'd allow Cortana. I would say probably any secondary character that aids the main character would be accepted.

I'm flabbergasted!!!! I wanted to do Nightwing, but I'm having issues with my pen tool and couldn't get the render right....I got CS6, and the pen tool is different.. =(

That sig took me pretty much forever to put together though there's really not much there.
I think I've only ever used the pen tool once in making signatures and that was with my guitar hero one. Not attempted to use it yet with CS6 so wouldn't know what the differences were.

I couldn't Shift-Click to make the curves, you had to drag the anchor and I couldn't get it to work just right. You know how particular I am with my renders... So I gave in, and took one from somewhere else, which I hate to do... =/
