Fall gaming

So, what game coming out this fall is everybody most excited for?

My personal pick is Doom 3 BFG, mostly because I really want to play the original 2 doom games...i know they're on the 360, but i'd rather have them on the PS3 and this package is just amazing. Also really looking forward to Resident Evil 6, it looks like it'll be one of the best games in the series

Those are just what I cant think of off the top of my head. Reaaaaly excited about some Xcom for my tactical rpg fix, and then some multiplayer with Natural Selection2. The fact that they are both great looking sci-fi titles is a big plus.

Apart from that I dont really know when the other games will be released.

actually I am looking forward to both xcom titles, but your right the Enemy Unknown looks better.

@Epsilon: if you havent heard much about these it might be because they are mostly pc games. I dont know what you generally play on but they are all worth taking a look at. Just look them up on youtube.

Lol what? There is an amazing lineup of games coming out. For some reason people get "good" confused with "hyped up mainstream poop".

Not to sound hip, but the games I play are far from mainstream. :P
I have seen the gameplay, and I simply hate the aerial view, and the menus.
That may seem minor, but I think in the long run it would irritate me alot!

However, I am a fan of RPGs, and content.

well action RPGs are a whole genre, the camera angle is like that for an entire genre. =( Those (including the Diablo series) are some of my favorite RPGs.

I actually don't know of many games coming out aside from the super-hyped mainstream stuff (borderlands 2, halo 4, black ops 2) and some horror games (resident evil 6, doom 3 BFG)

As far as I can tell, most of the games i'm looking forward to are early next year (metal gear rising, aliens colonial marines) or don't even have a release date yet (last guardian, zone of the enders HD collection, GTA 5, Final Fantasy X HD)

without even hitting play, this game looks like a diablo clone. (which i don't consider a bad thing)

Yeah, there's only 3 games I want so far this fall, and 2 of them are HD re-releases

and ... I kinda changed my mind about RE6, cause... I played the game & beat it at a friend's place. it was worth playing, but not worth having in my game library.

Doom 3 BFG...it's doom 3 in HD with a few updates (such as the gun has a built in flashlight) and it comes with doom and doom 2 as well.

I played the RE6 demo and absolutely loved it. I need to play the full game. Chris's campaign was the most fun playing a shooter i've had in a long time, and leon's was a lot of fun too. I didn't care much for jake's but my friend said the section of jake's campaign they put in the demo was awful and the rest is a lot better, so..

Black ops 2 will likely be the only new game this fall i will pick up on release day. Too many other games are currently occupying and will continue to occupy my gaming time :)
