Best Game Mods/Hacks?

What are some of the best mods out there that significantly change the game? Games like Kaizo Mario World, New Super Mario Bros Wii TNL, Dayz, Cry of Fear, and though it's not necessarily a mod, Zelda Master Quest. I know there are literally thousands of SMW hacks, but what are some other really good ones?

There are many good mods for many games. project reality for battlefield for example. DayZ is definitaly one of hte better mods I have seen and garrys mod is also pretty epic.
