The forum has finally hit 500 members - thats Half a Thousand and we are that much closer to the next best thing.

It has been logged on October 8th 2007 so I am gonna say this is a pretty lucky day since this is the day I have finalized and updated the Arcade and we have just hit the huge landmark of 500 Members.

Thank you all for making that possible! The 500th member was the 32nd member of the month.

Good job to the forum, here is to another 100! :D :yes: :radar: :spinny: :wub:

yea we were stuck at 499 for too long, now we are at 502 already - the past 4 days in a row averaging 3 members a day exactly

That is great. This place just keeps getting more popular!. Hopefully by the beginning of next year we will be at 7 members a day!

i wish i could "make" a server for cs lol, i gotta rent it, im looking at new offers now and i know u were there jasper in the irc channel when that guy made that ridiculous offer to take my money lol

i've contacted several companies and im testing their servers and etc.. i'll try to speed it up and try to get it by october, just need a bit more $$ to secure in server for several months

anyone insterested in paid admin package lol :D

Yeah make a CS server and BF2 server and we get people here in no time. :D

lol BF2 servers cost about twice as much :/ cant afford that right now since i have to pay for it all myself but like i said before if we can work something out with this one cs server then we can move onto other games and other parts of the world :D

Well, I don't think they cost twice and I think they cost exacly the same. :)

no lol, i've checked trust me, Battlefield 2 servers cost a lot more - CS1.6 and CSS servers cost the same in most companies

lol i thought CS:S cost abit more in companies than 1.6 since 1.6 is a cheaper game and easier to host.

actually they cost the same but if u read the stats - source servers are a bit slower lol - in tick rate and fps :/ but source servers require less fps anyway to play smoothly

I was on a source server today lol. It had 100 tick rate and i had 16 latency :)

nice lol - i was a texas 1.6 server today ping was around 30 or 40 :D

Well i havent tried 1.6 but i dont think the ping rates would matter in any game. But as you said the fps matters though

yea its for smoothness of server when playing cuz when more people enter the game looks choppy and stuff. So i want to get a good and decent amount which is over 150 or 200 fps. cant have people complaining about that cuz i wont have physicall access to the server to fix it

this forum gets off topic too mch lol

and the forum is growing at a great speed - we broke post record today once again :D only a few of the staff know the number the rest of you will have to wait for stats at the beginning of next month :D

i have to correct and say 2006 lol - wrote 206 by mistake - typo

this forum was first my clan forum - only a few people came on here and were actually allowed on here - we had our members and cs fans on here lol then i left the clan and didnt want to shut down forum or anything so i took it from there and made it to gamers forum a few months later in august -

im taking forum age from the day of first member registration and first - was late may - gamers forum - the official news of that was released a day before my birthday on august 28th - it was my own present to myself lol :D

lol yea, i havent shown u the conversion of i though or did you already see? the smf version

yabb was getting us from 5-15 members a month - smf from 10-30 - and vbulletin like 70-80 a month - i wonder if there is anything better than vb that can bring in double that lol

you can thank fattat for some of the images on this forum because they are custom made by him including the header and logo :D and favicon lol :D but most of it is custom coded by me including the sidebar and some of the extra's on the forum footer - yay for the forum

i actually have another skin i am working on at the moment, it'll give all the members a choice between this skin, the default one, and the new skin. I have to finish the coding and installing mods on that one - the thing is that it doesnt always work :(

well you can request the list - so far the most a person has referred is 10 and thats GF Eric - you can request a list when you hit 10 referral count cuz if ur gonna ask for it everytime you get a referral, it'll get annoying for me since im the only one that can get you the list lol

remember that referrals only count if the person has made 10 or more posts - your referral count will go up in ur profile but not on my list

we dont look forward to half a hundred anymore lol - so here comes 600 :-P

we are averaging over 4 new members a day so far - twice as good as last month by this time

we still went above average lol - we already beat last month's post count by a whole lot

and as for members - we are still averaging over 4 members a day, you think we can hit 100 total members for this month? we still need about 55 or so more in the next 18 days
