That's what you would have heard if I wasn't lying.
Congrats to Barack Obama for being reelected.
It's also scary to see how he wont he popular vote by only around 3 million votes. And from what I can see right now, Florida votes haven't been fully counted yet. No surprise there, they're always a little slow.
I hope President Obama keeps on this track to help the country recover. I wish him Luck even though I wanted Stephen Colbert to keep running.

I went to bed around 11ish thinking he already was going to win, glad to wake up and see he did.

Whoop whoop! :)
One thing I never understood why we don't go by the total number of votes from Americans versus using the Electoral vote system.

Mitt Romney seemed like he didn't have his stuff together. I feel like he wouldn't know what to do if he was elected.

The original idea was to protect the interests of smaller states. But it's not very democratic imo because even a difference of one vote can send the whole amount of electoral votes to the candidate.
But to everyone, it's somehow logical.

Thank you Canada. You can sleep with both eyes closed now.

I agree. It's also scary to see Romney lost by less than 2% of the popular votes (even though he was crushed in the electoral system). It means that 48% of the people in this country thought that he would make the better president with his Tax cuts (which wouldn't have helped 47 out of the 48 percent of those people) and all the other shenanigans he spat out.

Was a very close race and congrats to President Obama for a second term. Let's hope we can turn this economy around!

Oh, I get that part. That if we're going by STATE vote, the electoral method is great and makes sense.... But I mean like overall #'s, nothing to do with "state" totals. Just the plain, simple ole total number of votes from everyone in the US.

Congrats Obama, I think he's the better choice to be the president of America.
