Nerdiest convention?

So, I've been to anime conventions (because my old college has one) and i've heard about other conventions...but what do you guys think is the ultimate nerd convention? (please don't say anything stupid like my little pony con or something)

They're all pretty nerdy xD I've only been to Celebration, which is the Star Wars convention.... it was amazing :O

Sadly I havent been on any nerdy conventions, why arent there any funny conventions around here(except dreamhack which isnt a convention really) :(

I do want to go to Dragon Con in Atlanta some day.

I could see my self larping, I role play and forum role-play so I do find that stuff appealing ( a slightly off topic post, but anyone interested in some forum RP, I can make some topics if there is interest)

We used to play this game called AmtGuard... it was really fun. It was like fantasy battle LARPing. We'd make awesome foam from bamboo and pool noodles.... and "spells" from tennis balls covered in cloth..... shields and real chain mail armor and ****. It was really fun. We looked effing retarded LOL But it was still awesome :P

There's a convention at my old college, it's mainly an anime convention, but there's LARPing, vendors selling nerdy game supplies or sometimes even their own games, contests (there was a rule 34 art contest one time)

I'd like to see a giant Warhammer 40k tournament, with massive armies and giant landscapes...that'd be awesome
