So what did everybody get up to so far this weekend?

Forums have been quiet this weekend, so everyone MUST have been busy! Or not, whatever works.

This weekend I grabbed $35 worth of wings, wedges, and chips from 7-11, sat on my butt playin video games with the girlfriend, and finished season 7 of How I Met Your Mother on Netflix. I intend on doing the same today, maybe a little laundry thrown in there to be a little productive.

What about you guys? Chill stay at home time, or were there legendary adventures to be had?

Nothing productive. Watched my first Hockey game at Ohio University. Got to see some guy get knocked out, so that was cool. Uhh, after that went to a flea market to look at some retro games, didn't find anything good. Then I basically just played video games, a lot of League of Legends, watched a few Will Smith movies as well. Also played a game of tennis with my cousin.

Oh, got pulled over last night on a McDonald's run with a few friends, was a nice cop though so he let me off with a warning. Was only going 48 in a 40. Other than that, pretty unexciting weekend, just been watching a lot of the Australia Open.

Picked up spec ops the line and gravity rush and just finished the new DMC.

Not much really, was with my family in some mall. Apart from that I have mostly just played games(league of legends and skyrim).

Welp Friday was my birthday so I spent most of the day playing Splatterhouse, had a big pizza & wing dinner with my boyfriend, aunt, and cousin (I'm staying with them at the moment). Then they made me cake! : D After that, ehaded to someone else's birthday party and enjoyed a few beers :3
Saturday was sleeping and then going to see an apartment (YAY), celebrated getting the apartment with beeeeer and hockey, and more splatterhouse.
Today I went to my cousins hockey game, we all went for breakfast after and I enjoyed a very tasty omelette. Now I'm just at home playing Warcraft 3, and at 5 I'm heading out to a buffet to see all my moms side of the family for my birthday dinner where we will all FEAST.

Haha yeah, I watched a few pro games on tv, thought they were boring. It's definitely a lot different in person though, will probably be going to more. I was hoping someoone would get hit with a puck, almost happened a few times, it hit just the top of the glass. Also I still wanna see a stick break haha.

Yesterday, I watched Django with Blackleo and basically hung out with him most of the day. Today was family time, was out with them all day today, got home an hour or so ago and am exhausted.

Tomorrow I need to actually get some work done.

I'm gonna try and watch another movie before classes start up next week because when that happens, I won't be going back to theaters until May.

Yeah, its amazing. I haven't played the first 2 DMC's but i got most of the way through the third one and i loved it. This one is a lot shorter (took me just over 11 hours on normal difficulty dying once) But its a lot more nightmarish feeling and it just seems to fit the type of game its trying to be a lot more. Less Japanese/anime feeling. Sets itself up to recreate the series. Most people weren't too fond of Dante's new look but personally i think it fit him better. Dante actually has some emotion in this one as well. combat feels familiar if you've played any of the originals. Overall despite how short it was i think Ninja Theory did a really good job recreating it.

That sounds like a pretty good weekend to me! :} My family came in this weekend for late Xmas, so I was obligated to sit bored at my grandpas house all weekend. I did get to watch "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar" though :D

I threw a nerd-themed surprise 30th bday party for one of my good friends :D Got comic book style *POW!* and Batman decorations.... made a D20 cake... and got Avengers masks for everyone :D

Watched the second series and movie of XXXHOLIC.
I cant seem to get used to the drawing, but I guess it was ok.
Now looking forward to seeing the live action version of it.
