View Full Version : Recommend Me an External Hard Drive

I already have an external hard drive - brand is ROCK and its pretty good. Has 200 gb space but most of it is used up and its getting full. Before filling it up and making it useful for just getting info, I want to be ready with a new one to take its place :yes:

So can anyone recommend me a cheap but good external hard drive. I bought my old one on ebay and I will look there again but it never hurts to get opinions from people that know about this more than I do or people with experience with these products :D

Well firstly what size do you want the external hdd to be and the price you would expect to pay for it?

well for my old one it had 200 gb space for around $50

so either around that or cheaper lol :D i probably wont buy any time soon cuz i got no money and i got no job lol but im planning for the future :)

then i'll do my research on ebay again lol - but to me price seems to have gone up and i cant seem to find the guy i purchased the old one from - he's not selling anymore lol, i just checked his ebay store

hopefully he can have something up by the time i have money to get one

thanks lol :D i need at least a 200 gb one - i tried getting a 500 gb one at first - but the price just goes above what i was able to afford at that time.

do u mean like a flash drive no wait i no wut ur talkin about ive seen them at circuit city i think one brand is attachie theyre my flash drive's brand but i think they also make bigger external hdds like the one u want i saw one for $150 i didnt see how many gb it could hold though:confused1:

not flash drives, i have a few but they are only good for transferring files from one computer to another not file storage for later use

$150 is too much for me lol - i found a few good ones on ebay today :D

Yep but they will be gone by the time you want to buy them :( so i dunno why we are looking today lol

well the one i found today was the same one i bought months back so im hoping it'll stay for the next few months for when im ready lol
