I'm going to get a new wireless router and I was wondering how the Download speed limit worked for them.

Linksys WRT54GL Wireless Broadband Router 802.11bg 54Mbps - Newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124190)

This router allows 54 MBPS on the wireless connection, does that mean each connection offers 54 MBPS or if I have 4 wireless devices hooked up to it at once, do they share that 54 MB's ? Because my ISP only has 20MBps, so if each device is allowed 54MB it wouldn't be bad, but if it's split, then we'd run into issues.

Edit: Just realized that this one isn't even 802.11n, so won't be getting that one, but still would be good to know how it works.

I believe it's per (could be wrong, never really thought about it or looked into it). And it's up to 54mbps between the router and the device, not necessarily internet speed. This is more for LAN transfer speeds.

And that's actually my old router. It kinda gave up after having it for so many years. I bought a belkin to replace, it was awesome for like 2 months, now I think I need to replace the Belkin too.

oh Okay, I gotcha. I did a little research on what the top brands are, NetGear was number 1 or 2 in most of the places I looked. So I think I'm just gonna get this one.

NETGEAR WNR2000-100NAS Wireless-N Router 802.11b100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4 - Newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833122235)

Thanks though :)
