ever had this happen to you?

when you get real far in a game & you feel accomplished? yeah... with 'torchlight 2', I've been playing it for like 3 hours and I got real far... STILL in act 2. for those who have the game (from the steam sale this year, it is pretty cheap, and I did see it on sale a few times) Act 2 is quite large. Anyway, gonna resume later on in the weekend. hope I get real far this time. just wanted to share that. chat on folks :cheesy:

Used to have that when I played GTA games years ago. In the past half a decade or so, I haven't been much for single player games, most games have been against others or I get bored very quickly.

But I know the feeling, it's definitely good. The feeling I get from beating a real person is a better feeling (for me at least).

yeah, that counts too. Competitiveness. I've had that happen to me once where I play my cousin in the old school Street Fighter 2 on SNES. I finally beat him after 25 tries.. and he was being serious too

Recently, I've felt this way with The Witcher and Kingdoms and Amalur. Both games are soooooooo long and anytime I get anywhere in them I feel accomplished :P

That's something that I'm finding really makes me love a game. Length and feeling of accomplishment. I actually love feeling accomplished, even though I know that there is still SO much left to do.

@Mizel: Exactly! it does feel great. by the way, how is kingdoms and amalur? I heard its pretty fun, but very buggy at times

It's awesome, I love it! I'm at least half way through the game and I haven't noticed a single bug yet *shrugs*

Well, I mean like in terms of quests. Like some register and you get experience, but some just remain there when you have submitted the quest you know? thanks for letting me know, I think I might get the game when it goes on sale! haha

I didn't see it on the steam sale though....

OH. Haha Those aren't bugged quests, they are repeatables :P I had read complaints about those quests for people that didn't know that, but they aren't bugged. It's because you can continue to do certain quests over and over.

aw man! today I finally finished 'battlefield bad company 2' on PC. used to own this game for ps3 as one of my first ps3 games, but I got it again for PC. so many cut-scenes, so many re-lived memories to recall. feels good today, er.. tonight. haha
I forgot how intense this game was. Wonder if they'll ever make a 'battlefield bad company 3' except it'll copy the format of 'battlefield 3'.
