what chat systems do you use and why?
i use raidcall as it is free and i am able to control everything in my group from members to sub lobbies and it keeps track of each members contribution to the group :]

Never used raidcall.

I don't really use any chat systems for games. For one on one chat, it's usually through steam or the in-game chat feature that's available.

For VoIP chat, I prefer Mumble. I used to prefer Teamspeak but Mumble gave me a much better experience. Much better than Ventrilo.

i have used all of those the problem is its so hard to hake a server and then you have people who you have to walk through it and i found raidcall to be as simplistic and much better quality

I normally use steam for chatting through text, that or the in game feature such as League of Legends or any other game that has a whispering system. For voice chat I've used ventrilo for awhile now. I used Teamspeak before that, but that was probably over 6 years ago. Sometimes I'll just use skype for voice chat, depends who I'm talking to really.

Back when I played minecraft I used Skype but now I use steam in-game voice calling but I might just use the voice and see if there easier to control in-game

I use Mangler (for ventrilo and I believe teamspeak), Mumble, Skype or whatever else fits the host's preferences. If I was going to set up a chat server I'd probably use mumble.

I use Skype, Ventrilo, Mumble, or Raidcall. Depends on who's on what, and which game. WoW guild uses Vent, brother and his pals use Skype, TERA is raidcall, etc. Depends on the occasion! :)
