Hi guys,

I want to buy a headphone around 100$ for gaming and movies.(I don't care about music.) So, I am between these:

1)Sharkoon X-Tatic S7

2)Plantronics Gamecom 780

3)Creative SB Tactic3D Rage

Can you help about which one would be the best option and why?

From that list I would choose the Plantronics Gamecom 780, quality brand that will actually last. I have the Plantronics Gamecom Pro 1, the first of the series for gaming that they released and it still works, no blown speakers and Mic works great. Pretty good for a 10 year old head set, I don't use it anymore of course because it's a little out dated.

Creative is a great brand when it comes to sound cards, but IMO they're not that great at making headsets, I've heard a lot of bad things about them. And I've never even heard of Sharkoon so I can't really comment on it.

SteelSeries is also a great brand for headsets, I believe the Siberia V2 is considered one of the best Budget Headsets out atm. A lot of it is just a personal preference, but if it were me I'd go Plantronics or SteelSeries.

First thank you for your answer. Siberia V2 has very good comments but I don't have a soundcard. For now I will use it with laptop so that is why I am looking for some USB headphones but it is also important for it to be a modular design. So, I can use it on other devices too. I think I am going to remove the Plantronics and Creative from my list.(Plantronics have Win8/8.1 driver problems and both are not modular.) So, my new list is like that I think:

1)Sharkoon X-Tatic S7
2)Steelseries Siberia V2

Sharkoon is not so popular but the users are all satisfied from what I heard, it also has Dolby Pro Logic IIx trademark from Dolby's website. It is also coming with an amp and has modular design.

Now, I have two options:

1)Sharkoon with its own amp included. ~115$
2)Siberia v2 + Creative Soundblaster external soundcard ~ 160$ total(Which is way too much for my budget : /)

Isn't there someone who is using/used Sharkoon?

Is there anyone who has used/using Sharkoon X-Tatic S7??? I haven't heard a bad thing about this headphone yet but I want to see some users opinion.
