I have several hundred hours on two characters on 360. I got the Legendary Edition for PC for Christmas last year, and I haven't done any modding yet, but I plan to do quite a bit. Do you guys have any favorite mods to recommend?

EDIT: By modding I only mean using mods, not creating mods myself.

Welcome to the forum :)

I'm in your position too, hundreds of 360 hours and just getting into PC. I just went through the Skyrim Workshop on Steam and picked my favorites from there. Sounds of Skyrim is one of the best, it adds a lot of life to the game. I also added various weapon/armor sets, and SkyUI which overhauls the lists in the game to be more PC friendly.

That's about as far as I got, my PC can't handle much more than that unfortunately!

Yeah, I have a laptop so no insane graphics modding for me. I think I'll start with simple mods like a save manager and some realism mods like Climates of Tamriel, and then progress to additions like Falskaar and maybe some of the player homes. I'm not sure yet if I want to mess with the character and leveling mechanics or not.

Yeah I haven't messed with any of the mechanics yet. Oh, look up follower mods! They make the game more immersive. I think one was "Followers rest" or something, it makes it so they'll sit down, lean of railing, and just hang out if you're taking your time doing stuff.
