Sure it could happen but it wouldn't be called Zombies, it would be called a VIRUS or SUPER BUG. But not to worry, WW3 or Space Life might happen before that ever happens.

Shoot forget the SMG's. I would get a sentinel beam for me and 6 sentinel pods to make sentinels. Oh yeah and have a Pelican for quick escape into space. :-P

Hah, same here but I'd get my trusty sniper rifle, of the marine and covenant make for reliability in different situations.
