Mine was Nintendo 64, easily. I still think it is the best console ever released. The games were so amazing. The third parties Nintendo had were awesome on that system. They had sooooo many exclusives too.

Same here, Goldeneye FTW, but its nearly unplayable today at that horrible framerate.

Underrated? hmm...N64. Yes, blurry textures, but it wasn't a pixelated mess like the ps1 plus it brought FPS' to the console world.

Great times with that system.

I thought it was one of the worst. Other than a handful of games (Donkey Kong 64, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, and Zelda: TooT) it was the least played console I've ever bought. I bought less games for it than any other console as well.


I'm gonna say my favorite underrated console was the Turbo Grafx-16. I loved shooters back in the day, and that console delivered them in spades. It also had some great games if you had the luxury of owning the CD attachment.

The Nintendo 64 had a ~300 game library. Perhaps 20-25 of these games were worth playing. It sold 35 million units. I think it's pretty overrated nowadays. It did have Zelda OoT, Mario 64, and Goldeneye, which were important games.

I really liked the N64, I still play it. It doesn't really have bad graphics or anything, it just depends on which game you get your hands on. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time were really good. Was it Ocarina of Time that was rated a perfect 10?

i liked sega genesis - never owned the n64 to know for sure although i have played it, sega pwned all :D especially with sonic and streets of rage
