Bourne is a bit more resourceful.

Bond is a showman.

Yeh i would agree with ghost. Bourne is like doing all the work himself and finding out everything where as Bond is just like um i got too much skill, il just get some random chick do it my way and that will lead me to the killer:D

The Bond franchise suffers from a lack of real continuity. That is, Bond has no relationships of depth that can carry from film to film. His relationships with M or Q are more caricatures than characterizations--they represent stock types, like the overbearing boss or bumbling sidekick.

Contrast the Bourne films. Jason Bourne falls genuinely in love but he loses his love (Casino Royale attempted to examine Bond in a similar way but it wasn't as effective). Bourne can be hurt. And no one is on his side but him. Bourne's undeserved isolation makes him more vulnerable and more human than Bond.

Bourne would wipe the floor with any of the movie Bond's except Craig. The Bond in the books would actually stand a chance, though.

Bond uses too many gadgets and stuff. Bourne uses more hand to hand, and the occasional gun.

Bond would win in my opinion. I like the Bourne trilogy but Bond has more experience.

yeah but Bourne is only doing stuff that he was taught to do. He didn't learn all this stuff on his own, he signed up for it and made it his life then he forgot what he did for a living, Bond didn't and just goes on doing what he does but with style. In comparison they are the same person. People want to kill them, they fall in love (bond more than Bourne) and the girl dies, they find ways to get what they need and move on.

In the end as long as there are explosions and at least two people die... it's a good action movie; in my opinion they both meet that criteria..

But bond has more sex(y) scenes.

I'd have to go with Bourne on this one, if only because Bourne is the more believable storyline of the two. CIA agents trained to be really stinking vicious? I can see that. British Secret Agents who just happen to have all sorts of 30-years-advanced technology the rest of the world doesn't know about? Less likely.

Let me ask you one question, how many chicks has Bourne got?
the answer, I'm actually not sure..haven't seen all 3.
how many chicks has Bond got? He averages 2.5 per movie.
how many movies of Bourne 3? How many movies of Bond? 21 (had to google there for a minute) and working on another 2.
So: Bonds over Bourne with an early knockout in round 2.
Nuff said.
