Anyone see the Halo dog on icanhascheezburger today? Awesome.

I'd post the image, but it seems that images count as links. And incomplete links count as links. I'm just hoping the period at the end of this sentence doesn't count as a link. dot com.

Edit: My rant was premature, having 10 posts first does make sense as spammers will actually have to work before spamming there links.

I don't think its a dumb rule, it's set there to keep people from coming on just to post links probably. There are reasons behind rules. Following them isn't that hard, and getting to 10 posts isn't either. Complaining just to complain is what's dumb.

Think things through before you start getting upset or angry because you couldn't post something. Ask questions but not in a rude way and you'll get the answers.....

Edit: My rebuttal to your rant was premature too then. lol

lol i seem to have missed something - im assuming it had to do with the # of posts needed to post links - if anybody has questions or objections about rules please open your own thread in questions and suggestions board and leave this thread alone :-) Rules are rules - don't argue but suggest

Yeah, the number of posts before you can post a link seems like a pretty good idea to me.
I just didn't realize that an image would count as a link, too. That threw me off. :)

you can do this - save the pic in ur pc - then use the full post reply feature on the forum and upload the attachment :-) its a loophole for images only - this way it will become a thumbnail and it won't be blocked since it'll be on the forum database

I didn't see your post but I thought you had a rule where you couldn't link to something cool at all, 10 posts before linking is good.

uh..no - u just cant post links until you reach 10 posts and be a member for 24 hrs - it reduces bot registrations - havent had one for months and i'd like to keep it that way - and usually if people's intentions are to spam, most likely they wont be back after 24 hrs to check up and post the link lol
