Alright guys, I'm sure you've all heard of each one of them, now I wanna know which do you think is best?

GH3 is better. Sure RB has 4 types of instruments but the game play is just like GH. Plus GH3 is way more fun.

I also heard that the Rock Band guitars are way harder to play, and also aren't colored.

that's to add to the "guitar playing" experience.

i personally prefer rock band, cuz it's ;ike fusing guitar hero and drummania, and singstar in one.

(p.s. i think they have colored buttons on top of the fret)

The difference between Guitar Hero III and Rock Band is that the latter will have more master tracks. I'm still getting GHIII though, Rock Band isn't released in Europe until 2008.

gh3 for 3 reasons

1) cheaper
2) slash wrote a song
3) velver revolver song pack

= made of win, just need to buy it.

I'm sold on Rock Band now over Guitar Hero III for several reasons but the final one to push me over the edge was the boss battles they added in GHIII. I just want to play like I'm in a band not challenge the computer to a duel.

What kind of game is Rock band? I'm never play that game before so I go with Guitar Hero, why I did it becuase I'm only have one options to choose.

Guitar Hero if you like guitar but if you like drums like me play rock band.

I gotta go with rockband. because i love Guitar Hero but i love play drums :D:D:D

i've been in two bands as the drummer and looking open a third lol, but i still prefer guitar hero since i recently picked up playing the elctric guitar :D but in a band, i'd rather play drums since im more used to that but game wise, i'd play guitar hero

I've never played either, but they have Rock Band set up at our Wal-Mart. I was looking forward to Guitar Hero III, but there are Drums on Rock Band. (Sort of reminds me of that DonkeyKonga thing) So I'm undecided.........:confused1:

I think I said earlier GH3 since I'm getting it but I'm playing Rock Band at my friend's house tonight and GH3 on Christmas Eve so we'll see after that.

I just seen that for RB you need the instruments to use them. GH3 lets you use the controller so that is a + on that.

Your right GF Eric you need the instruments but it is a ton more funner than GH3 I played for over 3 hours.

plus y are ppl voting based on the colour of te instrument ahahah... nd how can 1 b harder 2 play than the other... i only played GH but i didnt really like it.. its a cool game sure.. but i play guitar 4 real.. and i find that a much better experience.. more than just 5 frets!!! i voted RB coz of the range... but i still prefer the real thing!

You play GH3 w/ a controller if you don't have the guitar of course :wub: also I'm saving my money until I have enough then I'll buy Rock Band since I'm getting GH3 for chirstmas.

But thats a chunk of change out your pocket just to get the instruments. I must say RB is fun but Guitar Hero is great with wireless guitar. I get to jump on my bed while not thinking about pulling my 360 off the table and onto the floor.

True but if you get RB for the PS2 the guitar is wireless also got GH3 on Christmas Eve I say that they are tied but RB is up by a little bit.

Edit:I just found on Game Stop but I heard about it first that Rock Band is going to have a wireless controller in February.
