Check out my Warcraft 3 TFT review, is is a bit older...but it is still one of the best strategy games out there. If you don't like magic and stuff like that, go with Civilization IV it is also a very good game.

i played civilization III a lot but IV is out so you can try that - also Age of Empires III - these are both good and recommended by me since I played both -

On the PC atm Supreme Commander and World in conflict are best. When I get my laptop I'm getting both!
