A few days ago, this family living just over a block from me and about a few doors down from my uncle's house went through tragedy. This man murdered his wife with several stabs.

A 49-year-old Queens man was arrested early Saturday in the stabbing death of his wife in their apartment, according to the police.
A neighbor called 911 just after 5 a.m. after the man, Mohammad Solaiman, showed up at the neighbor?s door covered in blood and said his wife was dead, according to the police.
Officers went to the family?s apartment, at 170-49 Cedarcroft Road in Jamaica, and found the wife, Shahida Sultanna, 32, dead in the living room, the police said.
She had been stabbed several times.
Mr. Solaiman was in the apartment, as was the couple?s 4-year-old daughter, who was not hurt. She was taken to a hospital and released to a family member.
Mr. Solaiman was taken to the Parsons Boulevard station, where he was later arrested and charged with second-degree murder, weapons possession and endangering the welfare of a child, the police said.
The police added that officers had been called to the same apartment because of a domestic disturbance in 2005 but that no arrests had been made.
